I was changing the light bulb outside the other night and just hated how rusty and crusty these light fixtures were! I priced some Outdoor light fixtures and to get them in bronze was going to run from $30-$60 each! Then I thought about that can of oil rubbed bronze spray paint in the garage!
Chris did the electrical work.
I spray painted and cleaned the glass
This is so much better and will hold me off from getting new ones for a while =)

What a sweet husband to help you like that!!!
that looks so nice after your work! and you saved about $100 by not buying a new fixture.
I've got a goldish framed mirror that I really like but am not liking the gold. I need to get a can of that paint like yours.
I was inspired by your the MSM challenge you did to clean-organinze your home. This week, I cleaned all my ceiling fans, light fixtures, windows and blinds. It was a big job and probably the biggest part of the list for me. I am so glad to have it done. So thank you!
My husband is very good at doing whatever I ask...well almost everything =). Rhonda I am so glad you are getting so much cleaning done =), It is Hard W-O-R-K to keep your home clean =)Yet so rewarding to have a sparkling clean home =)
The fixture looks amazing. :)
That looks great! I love ORB. ;-)
Thank You =), I was wondering what an orb was though Jessica....I am a little on the slow side tonight...lol =)Oil Rubbed Bronze, I gonna start calling it orb =)
That was a splendid transformation! I think the black color suits your outdoor light more. The gold one looks good too, but the latter accentuates the brick walls nicely. And it also makes the light and brass look new and classy.
