Decently and In Order: Hampton Rental Home Master Bedroom

Welcome to our bedroom =) As you can see I have the pack n play already set up as we have only 6-8 weeks left before baby =) I want to have everything ready to go before we start school in a couple weeks =).
Here is my nightstand I have some Oragami Owl necklaces in the circle organizers.  I also keep my bible, bible study notes and address book. I love writing in different colors for my notes. I usually write down scriptures I would like to memorize =).

I have an empty drawer that could be used for who knows what......

My husband's nightstand is also where he keeps his address book and Bibles

His bottom drawer he stores his wallet and receipts after they are scanned in the computer.

Then there is our dresser....
The left side belongs to Chris.....well and the new baby for a couple months. I have in here the first things the baby will need to wear and be wrapped in. =) I have yet to order my home birth kit so there will be a few more things added in here shortly =)

I even have some nb diapers ready that our pastor's baby grew out of. So sad how quickly the newborn stage flies by .....

My husband has a bunch of the same shirts stacked in his drawers and a bunch of the same socks......He only is wearing black and grey and khaki at the time....lol

 More shirts, shorts and underclothes.

My top drawer is usually empty but.....it is full of maternity clothes for now =). Should be empty again soon after I return most of these clothes to our pastor's wife.
My sister gave me a clear divider she had no need for in her home to keep all my underclothes inline.

This is my house clothes drawer......shirts, maxi skirts and culottes. I have way too many house clothes but I get so dirty during the day I hate to put on "real" clothes....lol. =)

The desk has a bin for outgoing, office supplies and incoming stuff to be reviewed, scanned or shredded.
This wooden organizer actually came with some Melissa and Doug cars but we put the cars in a bin in the boys room =).

Up Next is our Bathroom and closet =)

Do you have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder? Just wondering why most of your posts are about how you arrange household items. Do you do any charity work or other things you can post about regarding your Christian walk?

Dear Anonymous I do not have OCD....although I don't go to the dr for mental exams.....lol. I am almost done with my Decently and In Order Posts and wanted to get them done before our lease ends in 3 months. I do enjoy organizing as a hobby and even have a couple of clients or help friends and family as a ministry =) I like to photograph everything so I can have example work for inspiration =).Our family does go soul winning several times a week...I can do a blog about that we have fun sharing the gospel as a family =)

Maybe I'm the only one that feels offended by "anonymous's" rude attitude. You gave a VERY gracious answer Kelly. My response would be A. Don't hide behind a computer and B. If you don't like what someone has to read, find a different blog to read.

What charity work you do is none of my business and I find your decently and in order posts very fascinating. Probably because they are opposite of what my house looks like!...lol

Even if you did have OCD I'd be glad because I get some great organizing ideas from you. Whatever your mental health, please keep posting. LOL!

Hi Kelly, you are an inspiration. And just to say something to Anonymous: A. Charity has brought America to this point: Holding hands out to get what you don't deserve. Most people that ask for Charity are the people who don't want to work. We were in the military for 20 years, lived in diff. countries and have seen many places and people. America was founded on: work to get what you need or want. The Bible says you dont't work, you don't eat. B. kelly and Chris have been two of the most faithful people to serve the Lord. And they have helped out people that were in need, when they were living here in MO. Kelly, I am proud of you. Just keep on with your blog. We all need to be more orderly!!!! Again, another way of pleasing the Lord!!!!!
