My husband and I were really excited to watch the new documentary, Marching to Zion by independent film maker Paul Wittenberger and Pastor Steven Anderson. If you know anything about their work, you know it is going to be jam packed with scripture to prove what they are saying! We have been in many independent fundamental baptist churches over the last 9 years because of the military and personal moves. All the churches we have been in agree on one thing; and that is the Nation of Isreal founded in 1948 by the U.N. is a fulfillment of prophecy and that the jewish people are still God's people despite their rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ. May I also mention they not only deny Christ as Messiah but blaspheme him in their holy book the Talmud by likening him to Balaam and calling our Lord a bastard son of a whore who is boiling in hot excrement. Genesis 12:3 is thundered from the pulpits all across America as reason for supporting modern day Isreal. Yet I was always perplexed and troubled by scriptures like
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not
the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Why is it that we are expected to believe that a group of religious people who deny Jesus Christ as the Messiah are still worshipping God the Father? Do we not hold fast to the doctrine of the three in one? Did Jesus not say that He was THE WAY, the truth, the life and no man cometh unto the father but by him? And if the promise given to Abraham and his seed in Gen. 12:3 is explained in Galatians 3:16 as Christ being the seed of Abraham, then how on earth is anyone that denies Christ entitled to the blessings????This film answers so many questions and I am no longer confused about reconciling my belief that there is none another name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved and also believing that a people group who deny that Jesus is the Christ must be supported at all costs. Plus I always thought that hexagram on the Jewish flag was creepy and occultic....lol.
This film is a must watch! I know many will not even watch it because of fear of rejection from other brothers and sisters in Christ. However the fear of man bringeth a snare that I refuse to be trapped in any longer! My only negative comment on the film is during the credits the hymn Marching to Zion should have been playing in the background =)

I don't know anything about this film, but I don't think the UN founded the nation of Israel, only recognized its existence.
God will honour His promise to Abraham, Isaac,Jacob and their
children.
Some will believe, some will not, but they are the brothers and sisters of our Lord Jesus Christ and souls for which He died so I would be careful.
I believe the star comes from an ancient symbol of the tribe of Judah.
Hi Janet, I respect your opinion on the Nation of Isreal. I do believe the Bible is clear I'm Galations 3:16 "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ." It does not matter what physical gene pool you came from to be part of God's people only faith in Christ makes us Abrahams seed. Sadly to become a citizen of modern day Isreal you must renounce Christ thus making it impossible to be part of Abrahams seed =(. The star is mentioned in the Bible it is actually a false God in Acts 7:43, "Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon."
