My answer to the next person who asks me this will be, "until we have our own reality show".
I am just being silly I am not trying to be a TV star I just have to say something to keep my heart light. It is depressing to see so many christians mirroring the worlds view of children. Here are some answers to questions some people may be wondering about.

Ladies that name the name of Christ I beseech you therefore to stop being brainwashed by our heathenistic culture that children are a curse and that God will not provide for your family. God is faithful! I thank God that he hath opened up my womb to bear children to train in the nurture and admonition of the Lord!!!! I would to God that we viewed children as Rachel did! Now I hear ladies praying give me a career or else I die.
Genesis 30:1
And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

Searching my blog feed, I found your blog and I'm incensed for you!
Especially the dentist! He sounds like a pervert.
As a homeschool mom, I've heard some of the rudest comments from arrogant people.
I was given the advice to practice some witty line or a line that would essentially shut them up.
It sounds like you've found your line.
People amaze me.
This is so refreshing to hear. The truth, plain and simple. I was thinking you could have substituted lots of topics in your post that the world thinks is fine, like homosexuality. I love posts like this, so keep it up, it is very inspiring to me. And I think I would find a new dentist, that was beyond rude! God Bless you!
Hi Jenn! Yes I should have added that most people who are against large families think it is perfectly humane to go and get an abortion or breed stds and aids by being whorish/sodomitish and then have the government pay for their treatment....makes no sense to me. How they say their sex life is none of your business.....then ask for handouts but a family who doesn't use birth control or take a penny from the government is all of sudden a cause for concern.
Kelly, may I ask what you told the woman at church that spoke to you like that? And did her comment make you think twice about staying at your church?
I don't know why, but for some reason, I had convinced myself you never get comments like this! It is so disheartening to get such comments and like I said before, esp. from Christians. Sorry you had to deal with that.
LOL my husband and I laughed so hard at your post. We have only 3 boys but we get the same questions all the time. And yes we are not done either lol
Martina, I bet you hear this all the time then, "Are you going to try for a girl?".....lol. If God blesses you with a little girl next everyone will assume you are done...and any child after that will be just insanity to everyone...lol =).
Lindsey my husband was with me at the time of questioning so he pretty much just said that children are a blessing or something....we didn't want to act crazy in the church.....lol. I believe that preaching of God's word would clear up any concerns....sadly most churches just say oh women should have careers and drop kids off at daycare and public school and it doesn't make a difference to God.
Amen to this! I am excited for your family and I don't even know you! We are on number 12 and you would think people would have stopped asking and gotten used to the idea. Nope, they haven't! lol! Great post.
Thank you ladies for all the encouraging words!! The Lord provided Greatly last Sunday we walked into a church with 10 home school families and the pastor and his wife are expecting their tenth baby!
Great post! People just don't have a clue. They've been made to believe that children are a burden and that two is "more than they can handle." They are missing out on God's best.
I agree B...it will be a sad day when these ladies get into their latter years and have no children or grandchildren or great grandchildren to share life with =(. Only then will they realize they have bought into a lie and that children truly are one of the greatest blessings to a woman's life.
This cracks me up. I just did a blog post about people and their rude behavior towards my family of 5 little kids. You are spot on! I agree 100% I am so thankful to be apart of a church that most people are on the same page as far as having the children God gives you. Congrats on your 6th baby! So exciting :) When are you due?
Lol I will have to go find your blog post =). I just love how your church in AZ welcomes large families and even allows all of them to sit in service =). I am due Sept. 26!
I remember those comments back when we had three (2 boys and a girl)... it was easy to laugh off.
Now the comments have changed!!!!
Wherever we go in our small town people would ask when we were going to have another, or tell us we should have at least 12!
They were truly excited to find out that our 9th was on the way (due Oct.)! They may think we are a little crazy :) but they love each of our kids.
Congratulations on your 6th!
That is great that there are positive comments from your town =)We do also get positive comments like "you make beautiful babies".....I need to focus on those happy comments ...lol =)
