Organization Inspiration: Rachel's Hair bows

What is the occasion for this fine vinyl cricut label you ask?

Since our move to Hampton, VA Rachel's hair bows have been in travel mode...lol.

I color coded all the bows into baggies to keep things sorted out while on the move. Some of the plastic baggies were starting to wear out and so I figured it was time for them to find a more permanent home =)

I found these boxes in the jewelry section at Walmart they had pink latches and they were $4 each =)

It will be much easier to quickly locate the appropriate color and bow type now =).

I was wondering if you could do an organization inspiration in regards to kitchen utensils. Due to a kitchen remodel that has made our kitchen better, but cut down on pantry space, I now need to store things like ziploc bags in the drawer i keep my utensils in. So I purchased a crock to keep utemsils in but the problem is that I have so many. I put the ones I use the most often and daily in the crock but what to do or where to put the rest of the utensils. Should I just get rid of whatever won't fit in the crock? Since your house is so clutter free and organized I am turning to you for advice. Thank you and God Bless!

Very nice idea. I may need to do this for the my girls' hair things as well. Hope you guys are keeping warm. We're in Hampton as well and it looks like it's going to be a cold one.

Anonymous, I store my ziplocs in the drawer...but my sister has really limited storage space and we got a fabric bin and put her baggies and stuff in there on top of the fridge =) She also plans on putting a cubby shelf next the kitchen entry way to store the ziplocs and lunch boxes and lunch box storage containers and water bottles =) I would definitely purge the unused items by selling or donating =)

Hi Kat =) What a small world =) Yes it is supposed to snow but I am from the DC area and I do not think the Hampton Roads area is much of a winter wonderland...lol =)

I think you're right about it not being a winter wonderland. The kids are waiting patiently for it to actually accumulate, but it doesn't look like there'll be much of that happening. :)

Hi Kelly,
I see your Curly Q product!=) I've used the Curls line on my oldest daughter in the past, but haven't ordered in a LONG time cuz I just can't justify the price. Have you enjoyed the Curly Q line? I have a new baby so I'm thinking of ordering some. Thanks!

Lindsey what are you using now? I think all the stuff that is not chemical based is pricey....lol. This is my first bottle and I like it so far also I only have one daughter with not that much hair yet....lol =)

I currently use tresemme as a leave in (www.tightlycurly.com) is where I learned a TON about caring for my daughters' hair. My oldest is only 6 but when I used the Curls products she didn't have much hair either! My youngest daughter is 3 but her hair is much different and not kinky curly so she doesn't need much of anything. My newest baby is a boy but I'm thinking about buying the Curly Q shampoo. I still have some Curls product left but the tips I learned from the above website are much cheaper. We've been using tresemme for so long now that I need to find some new products to rotate with because her hair isn't liking it so much right now. (And that's my novel...lol!)
