Eight is Great! Baby #8 Due Aug. 2018

Phew, I made it past the half way point of pregnancy and will be 23 weeks this Wednesday!!! The official due date is August 29, 2018. I can't believe this will be our 8th baby!

Naomi still very much feels like a baby to me even though she is walking, talking, drinking from a sippy cup, fighting with siblings etc....lol. She still comes to bed to nurse most nights and takes small drinks throughout the day. I am hoping to wean her in the next few weeks!

We are not going to find out the gender again; it made labor more exciting last time not knowing! All the kids except Rachel are hoping for a baby brother because Naomi is so sassy to her brothers. Rachel says we need more girls because there are too many boys! I don't care either way, I'l take a snuggly baby boy or girl to cuddle =).

Young Living Savvy Minerals Make up Review

I haven't owned make up in years but kept seeing all of my essential oil using friends ranting and raving about the new make up line from Young Living Essential Oils. I had some essential rewards points saved up from being a monthly order subscriber where I get 25% of every order placed back as points and decided to spend them on the make up!  This way if I hated the make up and never wore it I atleast didn't spend money out of pocket on it..lol.
I ordered all the lightest colors to get the most natural look possile and didn't get eyeliner either. It is really lightweight and shimmery. It only takes about 10 minutes to put it on and even my husband who hates make up says it doesn't look bad...lol. At 20 weeks pregnant I should be glowing already but a girl can use some help these days so I am very happy with this all natural make up line =)

The Logan Bus

So we have been loooooonnnngg overdue for a vehicle upgrade. We had our Honda Odyssey minivan since we had only 1 baby and it only had 5,000 miles on it.   We finally let go of it after driving it for 11 years, putting 277,000 miles on it, sliding doors stuck and falling off......we got a whopping $600 trade in for it ...lol.
My husband traded it in for a little Honda Civic hatchback to drive him back and forth to work. For the rest of us we get to ride around in style with this 2015 Nissan NV 3500 12 Passenger van!

We hated to get a car payment as we haven't had one in 8 years since paying off the Honda, but there was no way the Odyssey was going to work much longer with baby #8 on the way! I was a little nervous driving it the first couple weeks as it sits up so high it appears you are driving over the lines and you can hardly see anything out the back window with the high seats and headrests. I am much more comfortable driving it now almost 2 months into buying it, but still have a time getting out of tight parking lots. I am very thankful to have a vehicle that fits our ever growing family. I would have never in a million years dreamed I would become one of those moms with her own little bus...lol =).
