Decently and In Order: Rental Home Entry Way

We have been in our rental home for 6 months so far and are enjoying living closer to family =). Our lease will be up in 6 more months and we are not totally sure yet if we will stay or move again.....so I figured I better do my decently and in order organizing posts before our lease runs up =). Enjoy =)

We got this shelf and the baskets from Target to store shoes. The entire upstairs is carpeted and so I wanted to make sure it stays clean....meaning no shoes upstairs! I didn't want to have a mountain of shoes at the bottom of the steps either. This is both pleasing to the eye and functional for more than just shoes!

I made the labels with the cricut of course and laminated them (forgive the glare from the laminator they look much nicer in real life)

I stuff each childs gloves inside their hat to avoid confusion.

Each of our 3 older boys have one pair of dress shoes and one pair of tennis shoes. Less is More=).

 Chris has 5 pairs of shoes......I thought he was a minimalist....j/k =).

We have two empty baskets which are helpful for guest with lots accessories they don't want to tote around our home.

The shoe rack is by Closet Maid and also from Target. Rachel has 6 pairs of shoes that is 3 times more than each boy....lol. I also have 6 pairs of shoes....must be a girl thing!

This ottoman is from Kohls we got it for $30 after Kohls cash on Black Friday.
It is helpful for putting on shoes and has storage space!

That is all for the entry way! =)

Until We Have our own Reality Show

Our pastor announced to our church that we are expecting our 6th child last Sunday. After service a woman approached me shaking her head like I had just been diagnosed with brain cancer. "Oh Kelly, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna get your tubes tied after this one?" she said in a sympathetic tone. This totally threw me off guard because I thought we were in  a place that believed the Bible......you know the book written by God telling us to be fruitful and multiply and that children are an heritage of the Lord, and that young women are to get married bare children guide the house.....I could not even begin to quote all the scriptures that tell of the blessing of children and God's commands to replenish the earth with children, it would take too long to type them all.  I know what year it is and what our wicked culture thinks about children being a burden, but God doesn't change. He is the same yesterday today and forever! For some reason once you have more than 3 children everyone feels entitled to question you about your bedroom life. I had a dentist a couple of months ago tell me if I put an aspirin in between my legs it would keep me from having more children. Shame on him! You start to hear questions like, "We'll when are you going to stop?"

My answer to the next person who asks me this will be, "until we have our own reality show".

I am just being silly I am not trying to be a TV star I just have to say something to keep my heart light. It is depressing to see so many christians mirroring the worlds view of children. Here are some answers to questions some people may be wondering about.

Your husband must make a lot of money right?
No.
You guys must be on medicaid to pay for all these births?
No.
You guys must get some government assistance then?
No.
Are you worried about over population?
No.
Will you get your tubes tied?
No.
Will you take birth control then?
No.
Your husband must be planning a vasectomy?
No.
Your house must be a circus?
No.
Are you going to finish your degree?
No.
You must be entering the workforce eventually?
No.
You must be depressed about missing out on all your own career goals?
No.
Is your husband forcing you to be a slave?
No.

Ladies that name the name of Christ I beseech you therefore to stop being brainwashed by our heathenistic culture that children are a curse and that God will not provide for your family. God is faithful! I thank God that he hath opened up my womb to bear children to train in the nurture and admonition of the Lord!!!! I would to God that we viewed children as Rachel did! Now I hear ladies praying give me a career or else I die.

Genesis 30:1
And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

Cricut Creations

After surviving the first trimester I finally have some energy back! I decorated these glass jars last night with chalkboard vinyl and ribbon! The jars are recycled from some dry tea leaves my sister buys.

I made some vinyl letters for the crayon box a couple of months ago =).

I also made this back in January.

Our 6th Little Pea in the Pod!

We are pleased to announce that God has graciously gifted to us another baby! We will be planning another homebirth Lord willing! We are excited to see if Rachel will finally get a sister or if our basketball team of boys will be complete =).

Psalm 127:3-5 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
