Family Soul Winning =)

.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Our Children are our most precious gift. I love my little family so much and hate to part with them. There are so many ministries these days in modern churches that separate the children from the parents. Our church we were at in Missouri was unique in the aspect that we got to serve on a bus ministry as a family. We picked up children in our neighborhood and I would sit in the back with the neighborhood children and our own children. When we moved to VA the next church we attended had Chris work with the bus ministry but not the children and I, so we would end up missing out on time as a family for several hours a week and I would have to drive to church all by myself....not like I haven't been through 3 military deployments before though...but still I long to serve the Lord as a family. I know most people think children are such a hindrance to the work of the Lord but Jesus himself said in Matthew 19:14
"... Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

At our new church the only "ministry" we are committed to now is the soul winning ministry every Saturday morning. We take all 5 of our little ones out knock doors. Most people are more friendly to children. There are still the occasional "not interested" and slam door occurrences...but our children are not phased by it at all. Last week a lady who had said she was not interested took a gospel tract from my son. If somebody is willing to listen to the gospel and Gideon starts whining I will just stroll away with the smaller ones and let my husband continue to be a witness. We have also been going soul winning during the week nights to an apartment complex right next to our house. I thank God for a family to serve Him with and for a free country where we can still be a bold witness for Jesus Christ without persecution! =).

Decently and In Order: Hampton Rental Home Master Bedroom

Welcome to our bedroom =) As you can see I have the pack n play already set up as we have only 6-8 weeks left before baby =) I want to have everything ready to go before we start school in a couple weeks =).
Here is my nightstand I have some Oragami Owl necklaces in the circle organizers.  I also keep my bible, bible study notes and address book. I love writing in different colors for my notes. I usually write down scriptures I would like to memorize =).

I have an empty drawer that could be used for who knows what......

My husband's nightstand is also where he keeps his address book and Bibles

His bottom drawer he stores his wallet and receipts after they are scanned in the computer.

Then there is our dresser....
The left side belongs to Chris.....well and the new baby for a couple months. I have in here the first things the baby will need to wear and be wrapped in. =) I have yet to order my home birth kit so there will be a few more things added in here shortly =)

I even have some nb diapers ready that our pastor's baby grew out of. So sad how quickly the newborn stage flies by .....

My husband has a bunch of the same shirts stacked in his drawers and a bunch of the same socks......He only is wearing black and grey and khaki at the time....lol

 More shirts, shorts and underclothes.

My top drawer is usually empty but.....it is full of maternity clothes for now =). Should be empty again soon after I return most of these clothes to our pastor's wife.
My sister gave me a clear divider she had no need for in her home to keep all my underclothes inline.

This is my house clothes drawer......shirts, maxi skirts and culottes. I have way too many house clothes but I get so dirty during the day I hate to put on "real" clothes....lol. =)

The desk has a bin for outgoing, office supplies and incoming stuff to be reviewed, scanned or shredded.
This wooden organizer actually came with some Melissa and Doug cars but we put the cars in a bin in the boys room =).

Up Next is our Bathroom and closet =)

Decently and In Order: Hampton Rental Home Big Boy's Room

Our oldest three boys ages 8, 7 and 5 share this room =)
The trundle bunk bed has three beds in the space of one!

Since the only furniture in the room is a bed everything else is in the closet =).

Their wardrobe is pretty simple: they all have 4 polo shirts, 3 dress shirts, 3 sweaters, 3 t-shirts, 3-4 pairs of jeans, 1-2 pairs of khakis, 1 pair of black pants, 2 jump suits, 3 pairs of shorts and 2 pj sets. They always have plenty of clothes to wear and never mitch match!

I got the half size bins and stuck them in the big bin to make a divider for socks and underwear =).

We usually go black Friday shopping for the pajamas once a year =)

We have a few kids books, but prefer the library as we don't have to store the books when we are done reading them =).

One bin is just Lego books.....my kids are really on the Lego bandwagon lately!

Joshua has a hot wheels track in the corner of the closet =)
These bins are the 97cent ones at Walmart with a cricut label.
Way too many tiny Legos.......

Christian Noah and Joshua....three peas in a pod.....not really Joshua usually hangs out with Rachel and Gideon...lol =)

Decently and In Order: Hampton Rental Home Hallway and Bathroom

Welcome to our upstairs hallway =). As you can see organization makes everyone in our home happy =).

We have a linen closet that is shaped like a triangle.....kind of an awkward shape for storing things especially towels/linens...so we keep all the towels in the bathrooms and do not currently own any extra sheets =)

The hallway bathroom is shared by all five children and is in constant need of cleaning =).

We keep soap and toothbrushes on the counter and everything else inside the drawers =). The little wax plug in the wall warmers work wonders in covering up unpleasant smells...lol =).

The top drawer holds floss, rinse cups, toothpaste, mouthwash, nail clippers and a hair brush for the boys. We just went to the dentist earlier this month and so thats why we have a bunch of travel size kids toothpaste =) The mesh organizers were purchased in the office section at Target in a pack together.
Towels, washcloths, powder lotion and baby wash.
The last drawer is empty =)
Rachels Hair stuff is under the sink =)

The Laundry closet ... the stuff in the right hand corner was left here by the landlord...

I used a basket to gather together the random laundry items =)

The laundry hamper is the only thing in our hallway =) This is the only place we collect laundry and so it forces us to not get behind on laundry =).

Decently and In Order: Hampton Rental Home Little kid's closet

Let all things be done decently and in order.

This closet belongs to Rachel, Gideon and the new baby but still has plenty of space!

I love these storage bins! They fit perfectly into most closets and they come in all different cube amounts! I got the clip on dry erase labels at Target.

 "Music" bin

 "Cars" bin

unlabeled puppy bin for misc boy toys

 blankies

"Rachel" bin for misc girl toys.

 "Dolls" bin

"Ponies" bin for My Little Ponies and playsets.

Rachel's side of the closet.....She has a ton of dresses...I didn't buy any of them though thanks to my two nieces.

Baby boy and Gideon's side of the closet

Up top I have two bins: one for the Baby and one for Gideon to grow into =) All the clothes Rachel will grow into are in my nieces closets....lol =). I also have the infant car seat up there cleaned and ready for the new baby!

Inside the "baby" bin are clothes 6 months-12 months. I have them arranged by outfits and pants and shirts/onesies not belonging to an outfit =).

In the "Gideon" bin I have clothes 2t-5t. Almost all from the same place I got the baby clothes from. There are a few things that survived Joshua and are in here as well.
